Live cooking for events

Cooking in front of your guests, as part of the evening rather than behind a door.

There is a difference between catering and live cooking. Catering arrives. Live cooking happens in the room, and the guests are part of it.

I set up where the people are, cook in front of them, and talk while I work. For a lot of events this is the evening itself rather than a course in it.

From recent events

  • Rows of small glasses of salmon tartare with yellow fruit and mint, each with a spoon, on a wooden board outdoors
    Salmon tartare in glasses, mint
  • Close-up of a square of toasted bread with stracciatella, raw beef, a ring of red onion and a sweet potato crisp, more canapés behind
    Stracciatella and tartare on toast
  • A row of small fried taco shells filled with shredded meat, onion and diced peppers, on rocket
    Crisp tacos, slow-cooked meat
  • A long wooden board of tartare glasses set in straw and decorated with flowering mint
The same glasses, dressed with mint flowers
